Blepharospasm is a neurological condition that forcibly closes the eyelids. Examples are abnormal blinking and an eye tic or twitching. These abnormalities can result from multiple causes such as dry eyes, Tourette syndrome, and tardive dyskinesia.
For some, blepharospasm can be treated nonsurgically. Injecting Botox into the muscles around the eyelids has proven to be an effective treatment for abnormal eyelid spasm.
I was greeted cordially and treated with upmost respect. The wait was less than 15 minutes, and I was really surprised since the waiting room was full. My visit was on Monday and on Tuesday I received the call with the good biopsy report. I will definitely not hesitate to use Dr. Thornton should the need arise in the future.
